Remember that?

I just took a mosey on over to see if CRUK were still blinded by their halo of woke. Looks like someone grown up has finally taken control of the website!

Not only have the used plain, easily understandable language, they have also clearly signposted a separate document which equally clearly informs trans people what will happen/what they may need to do to receive the correct healthcare for their sex.

I mean, well done CRUK for finally realising cancer doesn't give a shit what internal mystical essence you might have, but you lost many of us (me a decades-long donor) over it. Not that you ever bothered to reply to me when I took the trouble to write and tell you exactly that...

Wonderful news!

Ideal. I'm totally happy with that sort of language - it's factual and inclusive.

JellySlice exactly. It's so frustrating that this "battle" is even happening because in most of these cases finding a sensible middle ground is so easy to find. Every one acknowledge biological reality, every one get their own properly differentiated advice, every one respected, included, and helped, no one excluded, erased, or denied to exist. It's not fucking rocket science. Very little of this argument needs to be happening!

Also those of you reinstating donations please drop CR a line to say why!

Totally agree. It’s respectful to everyone and everyone gets their needs catered for.

Unfortunately biological reality seems to upset some people.

The CR row on twitter peak transed me, I innocently made a comment concerned about women with learning difficulties not understanding the language and got piled on. Frankly I'm still angry about being hung out to dry by CR in a debate I was unaware until then.
The woke activity by a number of charities has completely changed how I donate to charities and I won't be changing back. For cancer charities I now focus on hospice charities, they benefit women who need care and help support the care givers who are overwhelmingly female.
