Look at the design of the toilet. Some actually asked a woman

Or even a woman designed it.

Just in case you can’t see it, the toilet it off centre in the cubicle so there is space for the bin!

That toilet is too low down for women. If ordering a new toilet get it larger and higher.

Eh? Women are generally short. My MIL has a taller toilet, my feet don't touch the ground. It's near impossible to poo.

Taller toilets are not good for you. A crouch type position is supposed to be best. Plus what others have said about women being shorter on average.

Yes, I sometimes find loos slightly too high for comfort, and I am average height for a woman.

I love the sanifair toilets in German Autobahn service stops. They have an automatic cleaning thingee so that when you flush, the whole seat passes through the disinfecting machine:

However, you have to pay for it: 70c on entering the loo, and you get a 50c voucher which you can use to buy coffee etc at the shop or use towards your petrol. Most people never redeem their vouchers (I still have about five of them waiting to be used!) so it's a great moneymaker for sanifair. If you do redeem them, I think 20c for a public loo is a pretty decent price.

However older people, or people post- joint operations, need higher loos as they are not allowed to bend too much. After my hip op I had to use a loo seat raiser for six months, and I so got used to it I prefer them at that height now -- 10 centimetre higher than normal

Yes - if I was a loo designer I'd suggest standard women's loos a bit shorter (better for kids who are using them too) but some roomier cubicles with higher loos and handrails for people who don't need full-on disabled facilities but who have that sort of mobility problem.

Honestly there should be an award for shittiest women's bogs to highlight this issue. I nominate Kings Cross....
