Menophilia: another reason to exclude males from the Ladies'

Sexual fetishes / kinks / paraphilias can start young, often as a result of early experiences.

They tend to affect males more than females, says Psychology Today: www.psychologytoday.com/gb/conditions/paraphilias

Menophilia is the fetish where the sight, smell, feel, taste and thought of menstruation and blood is sexually arousing: www.period.media/tag/menophilia/

Menophiliacs will raid sanpro disposal bins searching for bloodstained towels and tampons to wear.

There are online conversations describing these urges and experiences.

Yet another reason why males including young boys should not be given access to women's private spaces and experience.

Those unisex loos with urinals and sanpro bins must go.

Last summer I saw three adolescent boys daring each other to sniff the contents of the poop scoop bin in the park. They did it.

Oh look, someone comes along to defend their fetish. 🙄

Hi hello, I am a bisexual woman, I was born female and I myself have periods. I also have slight menophilia. I do not raid trash for used feminine products or violate others' consent in any possible way, I only act upon these desires with my partner if they are willing. I ask that you please do not lump all menophiliacs together as creeps men who violate others' privacy in the ways you described. The majority of us are simply normal people who only act upon our desires in the bedroom. I also ask that you acknowledge this fetish is not exclusive to males, women can have an interest in menophilia as well and we shouldn't demonize the kink as a whole :)

Oh do give over 🙄

Demonize the kink?
Why on earth not?

Oh ugh. I wish I hadn’t clicked on this thread now; feel a bit sick. Thought I’d heard it all but yeuucch. And it’s a zombie thread resurrected by a real actual “bisexual woman”. Oh aye. Well, I guess it is still technically half term 🙄

The evidence

HRTFT, may just be repeating but...

Do you think somewhere there are women doing the equivalent thing? The mind boggles. Do women find the idea of walking around wearing a man's used underpants complete with skid marks arousing? I imagine very few, and if they exist, they keep very quiet about it.

This is starting to make me look at men I know and like and wonder what they get up to when no one's looking. For decades before all this came out I used to often find men weird and creepy and not know why. Now it's becoming clear. Yuck.

And now Tampax are using two men to promote their product. FFS.

What the actual fuck.

viques · 10/06/2022 11:01

“Slight menophilia” does that mean only interested in tampax light, or pant liners rather than full on heavy duty stuff?

Also how would you avoid them being near sanipro in the home? Hmm

I think normalisation of the female body is more important than hiding it.

... if you live with a male person with this fetish and choose to let them have access to your sanpro in your home, whether unused or used, that is your body, your home, your choice. It's not one I'd make personally, but you do you.

However non consenting others should not be involved at any time in someone else's fetish. This is using other people. It is not ok. It should not be normalised.
