Just caught the end of this after Endeavour. Had forgotten how much I loved her voice. I presume it will be on iPlayer soon.
I bought Broken English as a student as I loved the Ballad of Lucy Jordan. I was intimidated by "Why d'ya do it?" and rarely played it. The programme talked about how groundbreaking (and often banned) that track was as women rarely swore on records or sang explicitly about sex in her "why d'ya let her suck your cock?" sort of way. She's looking great (even if I wanted to cut her fringe) I put the album on straight after and will watch the rest tomorrow.

I saw all of it (was recording "Endeavour"!) and thought it was very good. I liked MF in the 1960s but the only thing I ever bought was "Broken English" years later.
It was good to see how she got her life back together again after her lost years but what I found particularly interesting was the (quite lingering) shots of her face as she is now. She was so pretty when she was in her late teens and obviously looks different at 70 but is still an attractive woman and I found it fascinating how much you can still see the young face in the older one.
Her voice has obviously changed a lot since "As Tears Go By" but I'd rather listen to it as it is now. And it was striking how her (much younger) band clearly think the world of her.
Worth watching if you have any interest in MF but also for some of the 1960s footage (e.g. the Stones in the Park).
