I can't even find the words to rant over the misogyny and harmful
Views used in the description.
I can't see any woman wanting to buy it after reading that and tbh vaginas should be clenching just at the thought of exfoliating them.

If you're female and you have it (whatever IT is) obviously have it wrong and you need to tinker with it all in the name of marital love.Confused

Jesus, an emory board for my fanny, just what I need 😱

YourSarcasmIsDripping · 01/03/2019 22:13

Apparently they consider themselves popular enough to worry about fakes from China.

Take care of a husband is a very important life challenge for Indonesian women, and primarily involves a very carefully concern for sexuality as such

I can't even...

Switsy · 01/03/2019 22:18

I saw this on Twitter today. It's mucus membrane, what the hell needs exfoliating! I blame Gwyneth Paltrow and all that snakeoil shit she makes a fortune from flogging. Vaginal steaming, vaginal jade eggs. 'Wellness' bullshit which is actively harmful.

YourSarcasmIsDripping · 01/03/2019 22:21

I guess nose hair will be next, no hair on a woman unless it's on her head.

I'm just hoping the reviews are fake and there aren't any women or girls out there sticking god knows what ("hand made") into their vaginas.

I take it then that we have to exfoliate the insides of our mouths as well, since mouths are also lined with mucosal tissue?

Which men also have, so they must exfoliate too, surely?

Men: start stucking that big sandy, um, thing.

WeRiseUp · 01/03/2019 23:10

To me it suggests temporary relief for your itchy stds you should be getting proper help for. What sort of community comes up with this idea? Have they heard of barrier contraception?

I'm new to Mumsnet, or at any rate only recently de-lurked, so I don't know if there's a better way to do this. There is another thread on this same weird fanny-tightener:

I had to stop at "my yoni". No offence but I don't think there's any need to be using the ancient language of Sanskrit to be describing the vagina, and then I have a million other reasons for thinking it's bullshit.

I'm so terrified about the world my tiny daughter is going to grow up in. Now I have to add "please don't think you ever need to sand your vagina" to the list of things to worry about.

Lemoncakestrudel · 02/03/2019 06:53

Haven’t followed the link because yuk! But surely if we sand our vaginas, no one’s going to be getting any sex because of the huge amount of damage and trauma we’ve just done to our bodies.

YourSarcasmIsDripping · 02/03/2019 07:50

Sorry didn't realise there was another thread on this.

It's scary how it plays on fucked up myths and insecurities to sell something not just completely unnecessary, but also harmful.

I read about "this" practice years ago. If memory serves me right it originates from West Africa where either salt or sawdust (!) are used in the vagina to ensure i) "tightness" and ii) dryness - because being lubricated is obviously a sign of a b.a.d. woman who is enjoying sex - clearly immoral.

MillytantForceit · 02/03/2019 10:45

Vadge-tightening is the other end of the telescope approach to penis enlargement: "It's not you darling, it's me..."

quixote9 · 02/03/2019 21:59

I have to admit my first thought was that this was a cousin of the Victorian medicinal "tea" polite ladies would drink. I assumed it was a way of playing with a dildo without having to say so.

But if these weird things are actually scraping ... no. Just no. What is wrong with people?

SpamChaudFroid · 02/03/2019 22:32

I think the perceived "tightness" these things produce is from an ingredient that draws all the moisture out, causing vaginal dryness. Horrible.
