Excited for our kiwi mnersGrin Hope Julie does well. I'm sure she will. What is the topic?

Iused2BanOptimist · 22/02/2019 22:04

Hope she bumps into the doctor who is holidaying in NZ.

Mainly prostitution, and how women are treated in various parts of the world. She was good.

....On another note, a grubby little blogger site called Whale oil (long history of dirty journalism) has released a 4 part report on the proposed changes to primary school teaching of gender. It is too hyperbolic for me, but links to a petition which I signed, and now has over 10000 signatures which is high for NZ. Strange bedfellows indeed.

I have just signed, will also e-mail Chris Hipkins, this is exactly what Mermaids is dong in the UK.

I missed hearing Julie Bindel speak, but I am pleased she was good.

Thanks for the link to Whale Oil Yeah. I have looked it up and will sign the petition. And emailing Chris Hipkins and Nikki Kaye too. By the way, Whale Oil gave Speak Up For Women a chance to rebut the likes of Loiusa Wall a while ago ... as you say strange bedfellows.

My heart sank when I saw the proposed teaching programme on gender ...who is pushing this pernicious nonsense? Just when I thought there was a glimmer of hope on the horizon with Louisa Wall agreeing to attend the SUFW conference next week, Annabel Markham writing an excellent article on trans ideology and the law for the NZ Law Journal, and Ani O' Brien giving a calm, measured response to the Privacy Commissioners' Spinoff article in an interview with Sean Plunkett ... and now this. It's introduction by stealth, with no time for any responses from the general public. It's the same in the health sector. My doctor hadn't heard about the use of puberty blockers and cross sex hormones on young children until I asked him what he thought about the practice - in fact the whole growth of the trans health ideology had completely passed him by. After our conversation he went onto the SUFW site and signed it!
But that's just one doctor - it seems as if the vast majority of GPs are completely unaware of what's going on.

Perhaps Peter Williams and Sean Plunkett who have both interviewed Ani now should be asked to investigate who is driving these programmes in our primary schools, and who is funding them
