A really good piece from a girl who would have jumped for the trans label had it been around.

That's a very good piece and I can definitely relate to much of her experience. I'm really baffled when TRAs claim that women who had such experiences aren't really trans, yet the literature going into schools seems specifically designed to reach out to young girls going through this today. It's extremely concerning.

Lovely, I identify a lot with this.

I have often heard TRAs say “why are only trans people asked if they are SURE they are trans, why aren’t cis people asked if they are SURE they are cis?”

Well in fact if you had asked me when I was a child, and I had been aware of trans ideology rather than the “gender stereotypes are for stupid people” attitude I was raised with I think you that I WOULD have asked myself “am I really trans?” This is echoed today by so many of mostly GNC girls today along with basically all butch lesbians who are now being harassed with “are you SURE you’re not trans?”

But no one in the pro trans camp seems to want to listen to women and girls, wonder why?

Really good article

I thought the piece really highlights the structural inequalities that young girls suffer within, but have no idea exists. And this is the crux of the feminist argument - no-one should have to bend themselves out of shape to fit into stereotypical gendered roles - but this is ignored in the current climate. After all the work that feminists have put in over the last 60(?) years to dismantle the straight jacket of gender expectations, this is infuriating.
