Stealth leafleting - any tips?

I've ordered a big pack of Fair Play for Women leaflets. For job reasons I can't hand them out openly but planning to keep a few on me and distribute them wherever I go.

Am thinking toilets, obviously, but any other ideas that would be effective as well as discreet?

So far on my list are -

Toilets
Changing rooms
Inside lockers in changing rooms (esp single sex areas)
Inside library books - might be fun to compile a list of best topics to target
On the fold down table on trains (but with the table folded back up for the next person to find it)

I've got my box of leaflets and pack of BluTak and am ready to go Grin

I'm also going to give them out publicly as I'm part of a group but I don't think I'd be so keen to do it on my own.

I saw someone else on here say they left them amongst the magazines in waiting areas, what about the “feminine hygiene” (boak) areas in supermarkets, pin to random notice boards. A friend and I were waiting for a late night train and we basically did the whole train station ready for the commuters the next day.

The Metro. I just take a bundle and sit at the back of the bus inserting a leaflets into each copy. Interestingly nobody pays me any mind. Library books - the new books and 'just returned' shelves are particularly popular, suggest targetting those. (Ex-librarian here!)

Ahem. I know of some which might have found their way into a certain YA author's books in Waterstones.

I like to put them in shopping trollies. Be aware inside shops you are probably on camera

Every time you use a supermarket trolley leave a leaflet in the bottom when returning it to the rank. On Waitrose trolleys slip one onto the little clipboard designed for shopping lists.

Anywhere you can sit such as a waiting room, park bench or bus seat.
In your supermarket trolley or basket.
Among other leaflets on a shop or post office counter.

So far...
Departure lounge at airport and train station
Community notice board
Spa changing room
Yoga changing room
Toilets

CriticalCondition · 21/01/2019 15:18

Any waiting room, surgery, dentist, optician - leave amongst magazines or other leaflets.

Basically anywhere there are leaflets - tourist attractions, museums, community centres - just leave a few of your own tucked in amongst the others whilst 'browsing'.

Some unstaffed NT carparks in rural areas have covered plastic racks providing information leaflets. Plenty of space to put a few more in.

This is all gold, thanks!

I had a load left just before the GRA consultation, so to get them out there in time I went into the local supermarket as soon as it opened and put one in every copy of the Daily Mail (stole the idea off someone on here).

We should organise a competition for the most amusing placement Grin

I paid my teenagers to leaflet them in my local area. They posted every one through every door for £10. I thought it money well spent and good exercise for them.

Love the Mail idea, although given its current devotion to wokery I might try the Guardian. Grin
