Jamie first came out when he was 8. He quotes some dodgy suicide stats (which don't even link to the actual studies - just news reports) and the article ends with a photo of Jamie and his friends all wearing Mermaids t-shirts.

This is not news, it's propaganda.

saw that one this morning and thought the stats looked dodgy
really fed up with the BBC

Back then, my parents tried to give me one of my sister’s old Barbie dolls but it held my interest for less than a day. I preferred to play football, or mess around on a guitar or with a drum kit. As I got older, I had really short hair, liked wearing boys’ clothes and always hung out with ‘the lads’ in my street.

But they tell us it's not about stereotypes. And since when has playing a guitar been a 'male' activity?

I'm so fed up with them dragongirl. That's on the homepage of the mobile site but there's another trans article on the homepage of their website.

It just feels bizarrely relentless. I don't recall the same focus on gay and lesbian youth. Or any other minority group for that matter

Because it's propoganda from about, homosexuals could only have dreamed of having something like that. Although most would probably not have wanted to brainwash.

Mermaids Charity was challenged before Christmas about both their Lottery Funding and also their training for teachers / school children.

Trans lobbyists have (it seems) been successful in getting NHS to provide fertility services to people who are transgender (following the NICE protocol for people diagnosed with cancer)

BBC segment reporting on this went out on New Year's Eve so may have been missed by many:

This is not news, it's propaganda

I saw an insightful comment recently:

'Propaganda is not about persuasion, its about power'

Good morning Britain interview this morning: Lorraine interviewed Hayden who was 'celebrated' in the press for being 'Britain's for pregnant man'.
Hayden talked about wanting a biological family. Initially Hayden wanted the NHS to provide egg collection and storage so that surrogacy could 'supply' a child. As this was not possible (at the time) Hayden used sperm donation to become pregnant. Hayden now has a little girl, a toddler.

Hayden made reference to how NHS services had changed and 'were now much better' and supportive.

Hayden talked about how happy he was, that he had had 'top surgery' and wanted to get 'bottom surgery' in the future.

I don't believe the timing of this 'catch up' interview is coincidental
