Ani O'Brien brilliantly takes down, point by point, an infuriating piece of propaganda lionizing US teen boy Andraya Yearwood for competing in girls track:

The original article O'Brien is responding to:

I like the article.
Wonder how long "Medium" will allow articles like this to remain, though.
AY imo always comes across as a complete narcissist. Self absorbed. Selfish. Ignorant. Even while they are being celebrated for being so stunning and brave.

Q yup, terms such as selfish, entitled, narcissistic, showing no concern for how his behaviour impacts others, all fit AY to a T. And Ani O'Brien was very good to point out that the adults in AY's life have made AY that way.

Here, for example, is the response of AY's dad, elementary-school teacher Rahsaan Yearwood, when asked about whether it was fair for a biological boy is compete in girls sports :

“In terms of the fairness aspect, I don’t think about that as a father. I only think about, is my daughter happy, healthy and able to participate in what she wants to do? I don’t care if she wins or loses. I don’t care if she wins and gives the medals back. She got to compete as a girl where she feels she should compete. That’s all that matters to me. …"

Me me me! Supposed girl Andraya sure is being socialized as if he were male.

This article has interesting pics of Yearwood before the weave. Without those long dreadlocks AY is always playing with & flicking back there's no way anyone would claim that's a girl.

(Sorry I tried posting just the pics but software or something wouldn't let me)

Brilliant article by Ani O’Brien, thanks for highlighting it.

US uni fees start at $20k per year. The alternative to scholarship is military service.
Yearwood is taking away a girl's chance to go to university.

Vegilante · 05/01/2019 23:55

Flying yes. And it's not just Yearwood who is denying girls the chance to compete fairly & win college scholarships. Another male now competing & dominating in Connecticut girls track is Terry Miller, who went from running on the boys team one semester to running on the girls team the next without any observable transition other than hair extensions.

In the CT state championships in June, Miller & Yearwood dominated, taking 1st & 2nd place in their respective events as well as overall. This meant that at the final awards ceremony, instead of three girl state champions on one podium & three boy state champions on the other, there were five male state champions & only one female. So in a very short time of two years, girls in CT track have been all but entirely eclipsed.

I've read in the local press that high school girl runners in CT are now hurriedly scrambling to switch to different track & field events where boys will be less likely to infiltrate & defeat girls so handily. Some girls are abandoning track & field entirely, again seeking sports less likely to be so easily infiltrated & dominated by male colonizers.

Sorry to link to a Daily Mail article, but it contains illuminating videos showing Miller & Yearwood in action that I couldn't copy from elsewhere.
