Porn-sick BBC shill for porn (again)

They cite in their support that well known home of the oppressed, Cosmopolitan magazine.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-46435975

"Unlike typical pornography sites, which overwhelmingly cater to men, and serve an often narrow definition of what is attractive, Tumblr has been a home for something else - content tailored at vibrant LGBT communities, or for those with tastes you might not necessarily share with all your friends.

If society deems it acceptable for any porn to be on the internet, then that acceptance must surely be inclusive. Unlike most of those other sites Mr D’Onofrio speaks of, Tumblr has been a space where different body types are sexually celebrated, not degraded.

In 2015, Cosmopolitan described Tumblr as a place where women "can explore their sexuality with the support of women without judgement or fear”.

"That change means marginalised people, those who are all-too-used to being ostracised in their offline lives, now face it in their online space too. Some of the internet’s most-needed communities are now homeless."

Some of the 'marginalised communities' he is talking about include those with paedophilia roleplay fantasies, furries, diaper fetishists, and others.

Why the fuck do these BBC wankers think that not being able to share your sick deviant sexual shit on a generalised blogging platform so that in effect everything is porn, just by defauly, because when porn is allowed it gets everywhere. If these diaper, piss fetishists, sadists, etc. want to share their content there are a hundred and fifty million sites they can do that on.

But some fucking boundaries so that porn isn't fucking everywhere would certainly be a start, you useless wanker, paid by my telly tax.

So glad I stopped my TV licence. Who are these sickos? Porn is never right or liberating.

MagicMix · 18/12/2018 10:39

Brilliant post.

Aside from anything else, Tumblr is a website that is popular with children and teenagers and explicitly states that 13 is the age limit for creating an account.

If adults want to 'explore their sexuality' online, they need to stay the fuck away from websites for 13 year olds and it is staggering that the site owners ever thought that young teenagers and pornography was an acceptable combination in the first place.

Some of the internet’s most-needed communities are now homeless.

Funnily he recognises that Tumblr is not 'for grown-ups'.

So he's pushing porn for children.

Fucking wanker.

I am slightly amused that his post here

twitter.com/DaveLeeBBC/status/1069691526014324736

"Hard to quote Tumblr users worried about the porn ban when they're called GanglyBumFinger or something. Kinda the point, I suppose."

has a reply from a BBC man called "James Titcomb"

irony is lost on these people.

This sort of shit drives me mad, fuck the BBC. "Vibrant" indeed.

eyebrowsthenet · 18/12/2018 11:27

@MagicMix you mean 13 is the minimum age, not limit

MagicMix · 18/12/2018 11:36

Yes, the lower age limit. Should have been more explicit but I thought it was fairly obvious!

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 18/12/2018 11:57

Same wanker complaining again here
