Manchester's latest feminist collective release thier new website with an EXCLUSIVE investigation into the sacking of Labour Woman's officer Morgan Horn.
Trigger warning. Contains reference to Lily Madigan.

My first ever proper article. I hope you like it.

LM has just moved over here: twitter.com/lilymadigan98

99 to 98. Wonder how long before we get 97.

Mumsnut · 13/11/2018 12:37

So a bit of a stretch to suggest his house was targeted because they were so close, to my mind

Budgieinaberet · 13/11/2018 12:43

Excellent work there Lippy

NotANotMan · 13/11/2018 12:46

Thanks lippy
Morgan Horn is in touch with supportive people

BetsyM00 · 13/11/2018 12:47

I'm confused, when did T*RF become a transphobic slogan?

Budgieinaberet · 13/11/2018 12:48

Morgan should sue LM for libel.

LangCleg · 13/11/2018 12:49

I am beginning to realise exactly why my kids spent their uni careers studiously avoiding shitgibbons like this. They both came to GC views, not via their feminist mother, but via the grim authoritarianism of campus politics.

KatVonGulag · 13/11/2018 12:49

I thought my Team Red Crayon verses Team Red Biro was a good synopsis. But this is even better. Thanks so much for drawing it altogether. It's extraordinary actually. Damning.

I'm leaving madigans deleted tweet from yesterday afternoon here too. Lily knows this was wrong.

I do wonder if Madigan has someone in mind for this poor girls position....one of Madigans fragrant cronies...

I would suspect Madigan was after the position but even Madigan can't identify as Scottish.....or ....I wonder....🤔

It reflects very poorly on Labour. The other thread had TIC references to Citizen Smith. If this was Tooting Popular front deciding to kick someone out of their post with about 7 members and no political power this wouldn't matter.
The Labour party however should be more careful about kicking people out, particularly kicking women out of posts on the say so of an activist who wasn't actually there and who is known to pick on women, especially those in women's officers posts who support women.
Labour have chosen to pick on the one women present in a group of several men despite several people saying she wasn't the perpetrator. It looks like a misogynistic witch hunt, probably because it is one.

hackmum · 13/11/2018 12:59

It would be good if Morgan sued LM, though I doubt LM is in a financial position to pay damages. But it might make LM think twice before shooting their mouth off in future.

Ereshkigal · 13/11/2018 13:03

The picture of the graffiti looks like a five year old did it with a red crayon.

Nightcloud · 13/11/2018 13:05

LM blocked me awhile ago for suggesting they are a bloke. Nothing of value was lost.

2rebecca · 13/11/2018 13:08

Much as I dislike LM and think LM is a misogynistic bully I don't think they are the main culprit here. The culprit is whoever removed Morgan from her elected post after reading a few tweets from someone who wasn't there and who clearly had an agenda. They should have just ignored it and put it on the agenda to be discussed at the next committee meeting where Morgan could defend herself. By then the truth that she hadn't written any graffiti or broken in to anyone's house would have been obvious and there would be no case to defend apart from someone in the LP kicking a young bloke out on the street for having friends round late and letting them graffiti walls. Not that I condone graffitiing walls and I'd not want a tenant who allowed that but instantly making him homeless is mean.

My take on the whole sorry saga is that the Labour party (and Momentum) urgently need to do something about the motley crew that profess to be representing them. If these two fractions, both Labour Party, Momentum following, Feminists, have such hatred and animosity towards each other, how the hell would they ever be able to work with anyone else?

They display great love and loyalty towards each other, saying that person A or person B is 'family' until someone has a difference of opinion. Then all those days/weeks/years of bonding over 'sharing weed', 'shooting sh*t' or 'spending time in prison together' goes out the window and knives are drawn both metaphorically and in threats revenge or violence.

In my opinion they should all be banned from holding any political office until they bloody well grow up and as some appear to be at least 40, I don't anticipate it will happen anytime soon.

DeRigueurMortis · 13/11/2018 13:30

I see LM is on another twitter break due to "not being in a good place".

Based on past history i think they will be back in 24 hours (more like a twitter nap after the tantrum).

Same old M.O. - twitter rant that gets negative attention, then woe is me, outpouring of handmaiden sympathy, bounces back online - rince and repeat...

As to who is culpable - well SYL come out of this covered in shit but LM doesn't smell too fragrant either as the person who's made repeated allegations which are demonstrably false.

DeRigueurMortis · 13/11/2018 13:42

I agree Thingy - but I fear the problem is they are all simply learning that politics is about no platforming and/or bullying people into submission and that finding points of consensus on which to build with those who do not share your view/ideology implicitly is traitorous.

Student politics used to act as an apprenticeship in learning to debate, understanding policy/process and valuing collaboration to reach a consensus to move forward. Realising in the real world it's not always your way or the highway and moving towards a goal is still progress even if you can't deliver 100% of your objectives.

If this is the way they are learning to behave as students they are are not even out of their political nappies at this point...by 40 they'll barely be ready for GCSE's at this rate....

Gileswithachainsaw · 13/11/2018 13:43

Why are they saying they will go through the party surely this is a criminal.matter and needs to go via the police. Sounds like a call for vigilante action.

And they've very quick to blame this women when a few weeks back they were saying terfs were mainly men.

What does this person have to do. They have been caught lying so many times.

And this was nothing to even do with them the link is nothing but an assumption it was about someone else's support of them. Support so strong they can't even spell the name correctly

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 13/11/2018 13:45

So, the 'landlords' were renting someone a sectioned off corner of their living room for £500 per month, and then proceeded to illegally evict that person? And despite carrying out a number of illegal acts (as in genuinely illegal according to the statute books) they are not in any trouble, but someone who knew someone who did something to upset these socialist equivalents of Peter Rachman has been sacked despite there being no evidence that they have broken any laws?

Seems legit.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 13/11/2018 13:47

If your flat is broken into, call the police.
If you see grafitti and vandalism, call the police.
At least let the police know what's happened, so the crime gets recorded. properly.
That's what a full grown adult should do,
not subjecting a person to trial by the Twitterati.

I'm guessing they couldn't call the police because a) it didn't really happen like that and b) they would have been forced to explain why some poor sod was living in a corner of their sitting room.

hackmum · 13/11/2018 13:49

If we're talking about "main culprits", there seems to be a whole string of them - the person tweeting libellous accusations; the person sacking someone with no evidence; the person illegally subletting a room in their house; the person/people dealing in weed; the person/people evicting someone from their room with no notice. Take your pick...

DeRigueurMortis · 13/11/2018 13:51

Well I think the fact they didn't win the WO role at Lewisham is a sign of a shift in the wind.

The better candidate won - a woman who has a longstanding track record and appropriate experience, rather than someone parachuted in by Momentum on the base of their notoriety and SM following.

As more people become aware of LM and their actions the realistic chances of them gaining another elected position (assuming its contested) falls dramatically.

Whatever anyone's position on trans issues LM's historical behaviour, social media posts and statements do not equate to a credible candidate.

Bowlofbabelfish · 13/11/2018 13:54

Don’t worry, all this will stop once all the actual women have been removed from the Women’s Officer posts...
