I've just been looking at his twitter feed.
What's in it for him? I genuinely can't see anything he has to gain from standing up for women, mostly because he is associating with left-wing campaigners, not his conservative-leaning constituents.

And he's not doing it in a disdainful "right to free speech" way. He seems happy and proud to associate with Venice et al.

Do I just shut up and send the guy a thank you letter or what?

Should add that Lewis Moonie - Labour peer and former minister - has been pretty consistently pro WPUK and calling out TRA bullshit on Twitter. Thank you Lewis.

Harrop's mate Dr Helen Webberley is in David Davies's constituency IIRC, perhaps he's been aware of the issues for a while because of media coverage for Webberley.

Local news reported Webberly being under investigation in Sept 2017

I've never voted Conservative and can't imagine doing it in the future either (though who knows......? I've changed my mind on lots of things in my 50+ years as an earthling).

But I find the air of suspicion about right-leaning people who are fighting trans ideology rather depressing. There are intelligent, free-thinking and principled people of all kinds of political persuasion.

And we don't have to agree on everything. As many posters remind us, it's not a hive mind.
