I thought the argument was very well thought out and considered.

I had what you would probably call cosmetic surgery (non-invasive) when I was 12. My parents had wanted me to wait but we discovered that actually best results happen the younger the patient so I went ahead with it then. It was low-risk and very much "let's try to make this girl look normal" rather than trying to make me look like a porn star.

The thing is... there was never any advert for this. My paediatrician had suggested it. I think when a child/teen (anyone actually) would benefit from a procedure, they're likely to hear about it from their doctor. I don't think advertising is necessary. So even though I benefited from childhood cosmetic surgery, I still support killing off the adverts. No one who "needs" it is going to need to see an advert to realize it.

And yes, my decision to do it was due to typical girl insecurities, it was medically unnecessary.

I agree with this. I also think that the minimum age for cosmetic surgery should be 21. Nobody should be allowed implants until their body has fully developed.
