Thanks also to whichever law firm acted for you at the reduced rate

Pulltheotheroneitsgotbellson · 18/10/2018 23:56

Well done FPFW but sad you had to go through this hassle - however it may make media take more note about the veracity of the claims by some....

Janie143 · 19/10/2018 00:29

Where has Joss Prior's data come from?

Janie143 · 19/10/2018 00:30

Brilliant work by FPFW and their legal team

boldlygoingsomewhere · 19/10/2018 05:12

Glad to hear this. Well done to FPFW and the law firm.

natriumarm · 19/10/2018 05:35

There is no evidence that trans males are poorer than other males much less women. What we are seeing with the debunking of suicide stats recently, the debunking of the murder rates two years ago.etc is that the claims surrounding trans lives are as spurious as their as the basis of transgender ideology in the first place. Remember, we have an entire legal uproar based a feeling. Yet there is no "feeling female". This entire scene is one big fudge.

Well if 41% are in for sex crimes none of those are petty poverty related.

arranfan · 19/10/2018 08:56

Is anyone else getting a flashback to the PBP who was constantly ignoring corrections and citing that Independent article in a thread about murder statistics (for no good reason)?

LangCleg · 19/10/2018 09:01

trans people are mainly in prison for 'poverty-related petty crimes

They don't send petty criminals to institutions that house only sex offenders and Cat A prisoners, which, as the FPFW analysis shows, is where half the trans prisoners are.

DereksSexyPyjamas · 19/10/2018 09:03

Aren’t most people in prison there for crimes that are poverty related? As an argument that sounds like it comes from the same ‘Yeah, no shit, Sherlock’ place as ‘transwomen are at greater risk of violence than women’, ignoring that this is also true of men in general, a general reflection of male violence.

Ereshkigal · 19/10/2018 09:07

Fantastic news. I'm really going to enjoy responding the next time some clueless wokester posts a link to that stupid "debunking" article.

DereksSexyPyjamas · 19/10/2018 09:08

I mean do they all get gifted with The Idiot’s Guide to Specious Reasoning or something?

Ereshkigal · 19/10/2018 09:11

Stonewall send it when you join.

SPOFS · 19/10/2018 10:58

Owl is flooding their timeline with trans re-tweets today... trying to hide something?

Oh yes, indeed, Arran.

PersonWithAVulva · 19/10/2018 14:47

Didn't realise there was a larger thread. This is great news. I do think they should either remove the false article or put the disclaimer at the top, and change the title tbh.

birdbandit · 19/10/2018 14:53

Good. More of this please.
