Suffragette crafting

Anyone making anything in suffragette colours? I'd love to make a scarf but my knitting skills are sadly lacking and I'd want it quickly not by next summer Grin
I already have a handmade bracelet I made last weekend with my daughters with embroidery silks. They each made one too. A cheap and cheerful Sunday afternoon activity Smile
I've just ordered some Swarovski beads off eBay to make a necklace or bracelet that's a little fancier than the other one.
My girls are eager to make things too so am after ideas for things that are relatively cheap, easy and fun to make.
Anyone got any good ideas?

(Apologies as think there's a similar thread about colours but couldn't find it and not sure it was specifically craft related.)

THis thread is making me so happy! You are all so clever. There is a great fabric shop near me (Rolls n Rems in Lewisham if anyone fancies) - after Xmas, I will be heading to buy ribbon etc!

Bought some suffragette themed material to make as toppers for cloth pads for my dd.
