Glad to see that the BBC does report the remarks as to using their 'transgender persona' to put themselves in contact with vulnerable women.

And one example like this is one too many! Never should have been allowed to happen, obvious that it would eventually, and also totally bloody obvious what needs to be done to stop it ever happening again.

All that would happen eventually is that we would have a special "women's prison" for Cat A sex offenders and they would all be male.

Yes Errol I too have entertained moments of black humour over that one - there you are assuming that transitioning will both validate your fetish (NB MN not all trans people are fetishists obviously, but I think we can safely say the ones banged up for sex crimes are) and that you'd be given an access all areas pass to a literally captive pool of victims, and instead you find yourself imprisoned with a load of other be-penised individuals.

Worse than that too. You'd have to go to the new special prison for high risk women prisoners - because there aren't enough high risk prisoners who are actually women to merit a dedicated prison for them - so there would only be one in the entire country to choose from and so, even if your friends and family wanted to stay in contact, they'd be too far away to ever visit.

This description of White as 'allegedly trans' what's that all about? By all lobbying groups definitions, they ARE trans. I'm kind of hoping that TRAs take up Whites case, insisting White is trans (they're right) and must be held in a female prison, and that the case gets loads of publicity showing the public and MPs what self ID is. I remember a poster on one of these threads had some numbers around that. It was total mens prison population, percentage of them in prison for sex crimes. Total trans (m2f only) percentage of trans prisoners in prison for sex crimes. I think it worked out that trans women committed sex crimes at a rate something like 2x that of other male prisoners.

I'm guessing a female prison officer would have been forced to search White as well.

So people don’t care at all about female prisoners. This man was put into a prison for women, at each stage someone looked at him, possibly raised an eyebrow but happily stuck him in there.
