YHA ‘single gender’ dormitories

I’ve just tried to book a room in a YHA single sex dormitory but that is no longer an option :(

Companies who implement mixed sex policies in places where customers have had a historic expectation of those spaces being single sex should have to make it clear, on a nice big sign, that those spaces are in fact NOT single sex any more.

If they want to put their female customers at risk by allowing penises into "women's" dorm rooms, changing rooms, shower areas etc then they can bloody well take the loss of female customers as a result.

Yes, a major change in policy like this, needs to be signposted loud and clear.

If they're proud of their policies, if they think they're a positive step forward, why aren't they trumpetting them out loud, explaining to women how now the dorms are separated by gender, not sex this is a great thing because......

I've got nothing, but if they truly believe that this is a good policy they should be able to justify it.
