I caught the paper review when it was repeated this morning. Brendan was excellent and clearly set out the issue.

That Time article is heaving with critical comments! They're almost 100% critical of the dire doctor.

Perhaps he should complain to the GMC about his anatomy and physiology textbooks. Because they would take him seriously.

I noticed that, likes on these Times articles rarely hit triple figures. It suggests more people are reading and taking an interest.

Is Harrop the one who talks about people learning valuable lessons? I just hope he watches the Brendan clip and learns one himself.

I don't think Harrop will see this as a bad thing. I think one of his goals is to be a high profile supporter of all things trans. Like his friend Dr Webberly. It's a growing and lucrative industry.

How does commenting work on Times articles? All the comments I've made are "pending approval".

They seem to approve them in large groups so at some point yours and about 50 others will suddenly land. They don't appear to moderate in real time as they come in.

It's on page 3 of the print version (and big!), so literally the first thing you see when you open the paper!
At least one of the online comments has the link to the consultation in, too. Hopefully that'll get some more people filling it in.
