I’m sure that anyone who wasn’t a nasty h8r would completely understand that that money was desperately needed to pay for shoes and contouring makeup, without which no woman can survive. In fact I’m pretty sure that not understanding this and exonerating them completely immediately is some kind of hate crime.

I don't know how unusual it is for a candidate not to be (re) interviewed, does anyone? I hear that Jared Whatshisname who stood against Nick Clegg in the last general election was so not expected to win that Labour didn't bother to interview him at all. Then, with all the students voting in Sheffield Hallam, Clegg lost and Labour were left with an embarrassment of an MP.

Is the problem here that these people are being put forward for votes BECAUSE of their gender identity - i.e.. the political party gets to say "look at how inclusive we are" - but, the political party forgets to actually check whether the individual has any skills or qualities which would make them electable?

I don't know how many people Sophie peak transed when Sophie was in the news for the Jo Cox course but a female relative who had been all 'transwomen are my sisters' in the abstract was suddenly wtf at that point so yhay for Sophie
