Just came across this story about Olivia Munn, the new film "Predator" and a scene she had with a convicted sex offender being cut once she found out about his conviction.

The film has been shown at the Toronto International Film Festival, just after the situation 'broke' and her male co-stars have left her to face interviews alone in dealing with this. The actor who was convicted is a long time friend of the director & no one was told of his background. When Olivia found out, she asked for the scene to be deleted, which it was. She's been interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter (that's the link above) and it's a very honest response she's given, despite the fact (as she alludes to in the interview) it goes against the preferred narrative to bury this instead of face it head on.

I think it's refreshing to see an actor deal with something like this in this way. There's no spin in what she's said, she's answered the question in a pretty up front way, and her male co-stars and the director in particular don't come out of this looking good at all.
