Thanks for joining my newly set up forum.

Thank you for setting it up! I've joined and posted and - although time limited - will do my best to keep visiting and lending support to somewhere women are allowed to talk without male supervision. This is so valuable for us.

Ereshkigal · 03/09/2018 11:55

Thank you for setting this up Peachy! Have joined. I'm sure the TRAs will just be going there to make great reasoned arguments and participate in fair and even handed debates about the impact of trans politics and ideology on women. Right?

With invitations to deprogramme us while having a chat over tea?

Ereshkigal · 03/09/2018 12:45

Indeed.

loveyouradvice · 03/09/2018 17:26

Oh wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot tell you what a warm glow that gave me inside... seeing all those pages for XX...... makes me realise again how threatened Ive been feeling!

Peachyoghurt · 03/09/2018 18:08

It's like in the old days when women gathered to get things done. We really need to be visable and make a fist.

ShrodingersSturdyPyjamas · 03/09/2018 18:40

We are visible Peach...the men just can't stop looking and screenshotting knowing they don't pass and will get banned as soon as they type a sentence.

Brilliant!

Wafarer · 03/09/2018 22:18

I saw Peachyoghurt's YouTube and signed up. Will be nice to be free of harassment from TRAs.

Wafarer · 03/09/2018 22:36

Just read the MumsNet policy on moderating posts re trans. It seems quite restrictive in that it says quite a bit on deleting posts that mention trans people's actual sex. For example it says the acronym, "TIM" is problematic and that posts using that terminology are likely to be deleted. That makes me fear the obsessives collecting names for persecution.

Peachyoghurt · 04/09/2018 04:57

We face compelled speech and how the heck do we handle that? U can't get that rubbish out of my throat and I don't want to lie.

Justine Roberts in today's Telgraph article about the NSPCC cancelled live chat about Safeguarding;
(extract)
"Justine Roberts, Mumsnet founder and CEO, told the Daily Telegraph that the site "will always have a great deal of sympathy for vulnerable and oppressed groups but we are also committed to freedom of speech.

"Sometimes these two principles come into conflict, rarely more so than in the recent debate about what it is acceptable to say, or not to say, about trans people, and changing opinions about gender and sex."

She added that the debate over transgender people's rights had tested "to the absolute limit" the site's ability to host "civilised discussion".

"But we fundamentally believe that with a bit of an effort all round then we can allow all voices to be heard and that by allowing all sides to be heard we can move towards a constructive compromise," she said."

I thought women are the vulnerable and oppressed group. This is crazy. They're selling us out.

arranfan · 04/09/2018 14:03

I thought women are the vulnerable and oppressed group

Apparently not. I can't locate the link but Justine informed us she knows her life would have been a 'million times harder' had she been trans which is why this is an inter-generational thing on which FWR will find itself on the wrong side of history... (I am paraphrasing but it was something like 'million times')

thebewilderness · 04/09/2018 19:44

I find this effort by government and so called progressive organizations to create a special class of men who must be denied nothing they demand of women on penalty of shunning to be as familiar as it is repugnant.

Peachyoghurt · 05/09/2018 05:17

Yeah, being trans comes with a special protection blanket it seems. Acting like cry babies and pulling the suicide card does wonders to them.
I'm sick and tired of this shit.

I will not bow to this shit on my forum. And if someone succeeds to get it down, I build a new and stronger board.

Theinconstantgardener · 05/09/2018 13:23
