You should see the shadowbanned posts of the people you follow, but not people you don't. It sort of pretends they are visible to everyone so I find it really gaslighty!

Tragic Melamin! I just can't get over the brass neck of them wailing about violent posts with misogynistic slurs being deleted.

Great twitter comments, but it's basically a catalogue of misogynistic abuse receipts so bear that in mind.

I’m so sorry to read that about boodleoops. I find this deleting and shadow banning of women very, very sinister . Fair enough to ban people who threaten violence etc, but women stating facts ? I don’t recognise this world as mine.

Sounds like something odd going on there. Weird things do happen with Twitter that they won't admit to. I once had several people on mute that I'm pretty sure I never muted.

I've had the same mobile phone no. for about 15 years. I get the odd spam call, but can block on my new phone and report.

Only recently signed up to Twitter, but being GC odd things happen on Twitter that don't on DH account.

I've only been on for a few weeks and twice now it said Twitter was taking too long to load and twice requested mobile phone no. Verification

Since then I get a daily call from a different mobile no. Never had calls like that really - all spam was 0 landline nos.

I never answer the calls.

Just been through the last fortnight and rang all different 14 numbers anonymously. Most were not recognised, cut to voicemail or went dead.

Has anybody else had this from Twitter?

I thought I was paranoid but just seen the pattern and that this absolutely co-incided with Twitter verification.

Huh. I came up on the QFD too Twins. Mine was retweeting renee_rg tweet about the abuse Rachel Stewart was getting.
Lots of my GC follows get dropped. I’m always having to re-add. That ban checker is interesting though - it seems to suggest that the accounts targeted are primarily right wing/ conservative (and we know there is a huge propaganda campaign to attempt to portray feminists as having links to the alt right)
Twitter is a very interesting social experiment, and I may suggest even more ‘intetesting’ in social engineering terms than fb - I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that blows up at some point.
