I was wondering whether the Advertising Standards Authority might be able to sanction a charity which gives out misleading info, eg suicide figures and also whether the charity commission might also take a dim view of misleading statements. A few complaints might be effective.

By the way the ASA says it is carrying out a consultation on gender stereotypes in advertisements.

The Charity Commission regulates and registers charities in England and Wales. It produces guidance for trustees on how they should meet their legal duties and responsibilities.

The Commission is part of the civil service and is a non-ministerial government department

The Commission runs an online register of charities, which provides full information – including financial – about all registered charities.

Charities with an income of more than £5,000 need to register. Charities with less income still need to abide by charity law (under the Charities Act 2011) and in almost all cases, the Commission still acts as regulator.

The Commission investigates accusations of wrongdoing. The vast majority of errors are simple mistakes, and help and advice from the Commission to trustees is enough to rectify things. However, in some rare cases, a statutory inquiry is necessary to find out what has gone wrong and how it can be fixed.

If a serious problem is uncovered, the Commission has powers to:

restrict transactions a charity may enter into
appoint additional trustees
‘freeze’ a charity’s bank account
suspend or remove a trustee
appoint an interim manager
make a referral for investigation to the police and other law enforcement agencies. "

Yeah, all rather interesting, considering Stonewall CONDEMNED the actions of eight lesbians at Pride, standing up for their right not to have cock forced upon them. Stonewall are in breach of their own 'objectives'.

I have only started skimming that document, but what a bunch of hypocrites, specifically about championing the rights of lesbians.

I would say that it is wrongdoing to condemn a group of women (lesbians) that they claim to represent.

Worth a few complaints I think.

I also think the 'award' system is corrupting. There are countless awards for politicians, schools, employers, organisations for right-think. Given by stonewall, pink news and loads of other groups.

Several of the Prides say Stonewall doesn’t attend their events. When the charity does attend, the Prides claim they haggle for the lowest possible cost for a stall. On average, Prides make around a quarter of their income from selling market stalls.

Others accuse Stonewall of failing to be involved in local LGBTI communities, only visiting their town or city once a year.

Many of the Prides accuse the charity of ‘profiteering’ from their events. They suggest Stonewall should work in partnership with them and even provide financial support."

‘Trans women are women’ is a profoundly anti-woman statement, denying any questioning of this or debate is outright the sort of social justice fascism that typifies the regressive left and has led to the ongoing battle of self-identified women with penises against actual women, you know the sort with uteri and ovaries.

If feminism is an ideology that centres the interests of females, you know actual girls and actual women, and Ruth Hunt as leader of Stonewall is aligning with and even promoting dogma such as ‘trans women are women’, then both she and Stonewall are anti-woman and anti-feminist. What a sell-out.

Hunt’s leadership is inept. Having failed spectacularly to take adequate action over the assault of a sixty year old woman by three transgender activists (at least two of whom were male) in September this year, Hunt’s organisation waited three days before limply ejaculating a flaccid statement talking about dehumanising language and how violence is never the solution.

Of course, the elephant in the room, being male violence against women, was recklessly ignored in favour of imploring, 'We must find a way to achieve and maintain equality for trans communities that does not cause emotional damage and that makes people allies, not enemies.' (continues)

And it's simply not true that this will increase protectins, you can argue with the feminists till you are blue in the face because we are happy to engage and debate and we know what's going and have a vested interest in dismantling gender.

Interestingly not deleted by 6.32 pm.... I think Stonewall are embracing the 18% acceptance of people able to identify as trans - and the feedback in response to twitter ... as evidence that they are working in a bigoted anti-trans society where they need to do a lot of work....ie this is the baseline which they are moving forwards from - "Knowing" that they are right as evidenced by countries who are already self-id'ying and more importantly by all those who are working as if it were already law.....

My son's school has just announced this week that it will be a Stonewall champion School (or something). This has been sneaked in at the end of term, but I plan to challenge this in September and send across the Transtrend parent info.

Schools are being hoodwinked by them and kids are being taught nonsense.
