I mean, talk about hypocrisy. Trans accounts are telling women they'll get a baseball bat to the face, they'll be sliced open, they should die, they should be raped to death. And they are spitting mad about eight lesbians describing female homosexuality? Really? You think that is more upsetting than 'I hope someone rapes your daughter'?

WTF has Pride got to do with the NHS?

Did you not see where Julia and her co-protestors were? Right in front of the NHS holding the rainbow flag who were supposed to lead the parade. They took that away from the proud NHS staff who came to celebrate the unity of the LGBT community.

Instead what people saw was hatred with a message they want people to think speaks for all Lesbians. (Which has since been shown to not be the case.) Their actions were disgusting to take that away from those proud NHS staff.

Julia is a legend. She is one of the bravest women I have ever met. I have seen her in action at other protects keeping calm and rational in the face of spitting fury and hatred from people who think men's rights should always come before women's.

Don't try that emotional stuff with us. There were a few middle aged women protesting peacefully. NHS staff have broader shoulders than you seem to have. The emotional language around this from Pride seems to suggest to me they are rattled and don't want women speaking out about something that affects them

Take your tabloid terminology away. We aren't buying what you are selling. And many of us work/have worked for the NHS and other public services

Getting woke publicity for yourself as an individual or for an organisation is not the point of pride, it is especially not the point that woke publicity for the NHS is more important than lesbians protesting homophobia....

A young woman I know is Catholic, she went to pride with a contingent of local party politicians to have her photo taken for SM because she was standing for council despite being straight and having spoken about holding some deeply homophobic views.

This is where we are at with pride now, it’s performative wokeness sponsored by corporations...

If Julia had been alive 100 years ago she would have been slashing paintings in the National Gallery and flinging herself in front of the King's horse at the Derby like Emily Wilding Davison.

I don't always agree with her views but Julia and women like her have done an amazing job at getting the ridiculousness of self-ID into the public gaze. And yes - they are very brave.

@millythekid Julia Long is a lesbian separatist whose way of life is threatened by all men who pretend to be women, even 'allies' like Hayton and Harrison. While groups like WPUK campaign to keep the GRA as it is and stop gender self ID, activists like Julia are protesting the existing law which allows men to legally change sex.

Indeed it is. And how wonderful that we have Julia Long, a woman contemptuous of such bullshit and both unafraid to and uncompromising about speaking up for lesbians - who are female homosexuals and a protected class in law.

Lesbians who claim they are not female homosexuals, you mean? Because they either agree, or they're not.

Will you listen to yourself? Do you hear that crash? That's your 'logic ' falling off a cliff.

Julia Long has put up with the most horrific abuse. Julia Long not giving a shiny shit what men think is something of an understatement.

It is noted, by women everywhere, that men can't handle this.

It is equally acknowledged that it drives them insane with rage.

Hence Julia Long being recognised as courageous.

And legendary.

She's also the most articulate spokesperson on the subject of the conflict between trans rights and women's rights. I wish she were invited on TV and radio more often
