Dear sir or madam ... the ‘to whom do we write to express our womanly fury’ thread

Right. Gloves off, letter writing time (I know, I know, such fury, but keeping it civilised..)

I want to spend my week composing and writing letters, emails and missives to whomever is most effective. I want my damn voice heard.

I am not on Twitter, so can’t do any of the twitting stuff.

So: my MP. Already done but will do again.
Penny Mordaunt
Anyone got a link to where individuals can respond to the consultation?
who else?

Any official bodies/individuals who need to hear our voices?

We need to stand up and be heard here. Where do we target our letters of protest?

James Kirkup,
"But whether they go public or not, MPs are aware that there are two sides to the gender debate, both equally valid, both worth listening to, and both capable of influencing significant numbers of voters"

It minght be possible to influence some mp’s by playing labour and tory off agaisnt each other. Whichever party your local mp is from, tell them that this is their chance to win over a lot of female voters, as the other party is shoving women under the bus, and many, many women are very angry about this.
I am personally an ardent labour/Corbyn supporter, except for the all-women-shortlist issue. I would not dream of voting tory, but If the Tories positioned themselves as the part that actually cared about women’s rights, this might shake up the labour party position.
