Might be worth using purchasing power and avoiding them!

There is a hipster tone to it which the other posh brands don't have.

Mine like the Encore fish range too.

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 30/06/2018 14:23

I am very sad about this too, especially as I was a big fan of Lilys.

I have been mulling over this stonewall thing as I too, used to be a big fan and am very concerned about their seeming anti feminist agenda. Can anyone point me in the direction of more to read please?
My company is a huge supporter of stone wall and I don't feel there's any way I can express my concern about it without being called homophobic or transphobic and it having a huge negative impact on my career :(

There are many amazing grain-free dog foods out there. I can’t remember the website but if you search “grain-free dog food Which guide” loads of good info comes up. Mine like Wolf of Wilderness.

Hodge I don’t have any links to hand, unfortunately, and I’m a bit pressed for time but if you do a search on this forum you will find plenty to read.

Thanks. Will be boycotting.

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 30/06/2018 14:46

Thanks @Writersblock2 and yes, another vote for Wolf of wilderness for anyone looking for an alternative. Also AATU

For the sake of dogs' stomachs don't boycott if it'll make them ill. Some dogs it's not just grain free they need but the balance of veg, protein, carbs, fats etc. Different levels suit different dogs and actually there is a difference between brands. Leave a nice message to lilys kitch staying it'd be more appropriate to donate to animal charities and save your carpet from upset digestion Confused

BettyDuMonde · 30/06/2018 14:57

Misty, thanks, but my dog will get Forthglade until Lilys stop donating to SW.

It’s cheaper anyway and suits her stomach, plus the packaging is lighter so easier to cycle home with.

The only thing Lilys are bringing to the table is additional variety. I will tell her it’s Stonewall’s fault that she’s bored!

BettyDuMonde · 30/06/2018 14:59

Hodge, there is a recently bumped thread about Lesbians that will give you some overall background on how TRA have affected LGB people - Stonewall’s policies have aligned with a lot of the stuff on that thread.

EnormousDormouse · 30/06/2018 15:04

Would Orijen be an alternative? High protein and grain free. I use the cat version for my rescues (the pampered beasts!) and they do very well on it. It's not cheap but they need to eat far less than the other brands I've tried.

MistyEyedMixture · 30/06/2018 15:21

betty Grin once your dog gets bored on forthglade could they "write" a letter to stonewall?

Writersblock2 · 30/06/2018 15:28

Orijen is amazing! Forgot that one.

My cats hated it. I am so proud of them!
