On the one hand, I know it is important that trans and non-binary identifying "people with a cervix" are aware that the testing is for them... On the other hand, if any of those people would have genuinely not known that a cervical smear campaign aimed at women, did apply to them regardless of how they identified, then I'd have serious concerns.
It always seems to be language about women that is a problem and has to be changed. Always women who get written out like this.
