Pratchet: present - no strikes

Will help us keep tabs

Is it just for trans related deletions? I called someone a cunt in the Tack Room and may have been deleted for that.

Sorry but this made me ROAR Grin

I'm here. I feel I should have had more deletions.

I believe Ian Huntley is a man who murdered two girls who is only identifying as a woman for kicks.

thewitchofwentworth · 15/06/2018 10:20

Had one post deleted and got an e-mail. As it was a post where I called someone 'him' without even thinking about it, I fear I'm not long for this world (or rather forum).

Bowlofbabelfish · 15/06/2018 10:28

Maybe it would be informative if people could say the reasons for the deletions they’ve had?

Amalfimamma · 15/06/2018 11:56

Amalfi present one strike for using Madigans legal name, the same one used in the PayPal begging account

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 15/06/2018 11:58

Surely you can appeal that, Amalfi? Or is there no appeal?

Amalfimamma · 15/06/2018 12:03

@Prawnofthepatriarchy

I don't know if there is an appeals process or if what they say goes.

Thing is in the deleted post I had actually said a lot worse about the legal implications of all this but they picked up only on a legal name

spontaneousgiventime · 15/06/2018 12:04

I'm here today with so far no further strikes. I doubt I will be here over the weekend as I need a break away from this shit. I just know I will end up banned so do I jump before I'm pushed?

NotMeOhNo · 15/06/2018 12:11

I saw thebewilderness was deleted for saying vast majority of xxx are agp. One of the transpeakers proudly declared they reported it.
Later I read that Gires themselves say that the vast majority of xxx are cross dressers who keep their thingos and use them to fornicate with women (the dictionary's idea of women).
So surely that's not a transphobic fact?

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 15/06/2018 12:14

Please don't, Spontaneousgiventime, I so much value your contributions. We need to stand, not give up in despair.

Women - well, let's stick to me - I know I am too keen to avoid conflict. I can easily imagine the distress I'll feel if I even get close to being banned. But I really mustn't give in. Because this is important. And we're right to focus on women, girls and safeguarding.

Theinconstantgardener · 15/06/2018 12:37

Still here still posting. Will probably join a private group as well though

UrsulaPandress · 15/06/2018 14:26

Whoops - just checked my mail and I've had two deletions - but only one for upsetting the, the, the, Oh I don't know what to call them anymore.

The other was for my cunt in the Tack Room. So does that count or not?

Maybe I need to find the private group.

Note. It was me that said gib had jumped the shark, that bit was a quote and my post still seems to be up.
Repeating what gib said about gibs partner - and being confused about it - appears to have been Juz's offence.

Can I do a [confused face] or will I get a strike now too?
Confused

UrsulaPandress · 15/06/2018 15:18

I'm going to start leaving this rather than commenting.

Shriver believes society as a whole, both online and off, is becoming “hypersensitive”. “People are getting very uptight about what they can and cannot say. I hope we’re going through a phase, because the alternative is for everything to get worse and more sensitive and more prescriptive. But I think it’s entirely possible something terrible happens – a world war, or someone drops a nuclear weapon – which will produce a real sense of perspective. It’s a luxury to worry about columns in The Spectator, and fall out all week over it.”
