.. i.e. an adult human female.

What does a transwomen have in common with me that they don't have in common with a man i.e an adult human male?

I don't believe there is anything that qualifies.

I do believe, however, that I have a good deal in common with transmen, in fact the same as I have in common with all women i.e. adult human females.

Is there anyone out there that can tell me what a transwomen has in common with me, and hence convince me that I should view them as a woman?

I don't feel like a woman, or identify as a woman, before anyone brings that up, so please don't patronise me with answers to that effect.

SarahAr how does pointing out that there are non-transwomen who have XY chromosomes show that transwomen have something in common with me that they don't also have in common with other men?

Bloodmagic indeed, my thoughts exactly, but I don't conform to many (any?) female stereotypes so I don't think that is something that could be argued in this case.

SarahAr, I do not “claim” to be a doctor, I AM one, with 36 years NHS experience. And I’m also rather bored by you dragging in the complete irrelevance of intersex conditions. Trans women do not have an intersex condition, they have perfectly normal male XY chromosomes.
As posted up thread, genuine intersex patients have asked to be kept out of the trans debate, as it’s nothing to do with them.
I have the impression that modern trans activists are mostly autogynephiles who are misogynistic, entitled arrogant males intent on invading women’s spaces, and who risk causing even moderate women to lose patience with the whole trans movement. Which would be a shame for the quiet majority of trans patients who simply want to be respected and have a peaceful life, perhaps with more investment in “third space” facilities, etc.
