I have it bookmarked but haven't watched it yet. Stacey Dooley Investigates;

I must check that out. Stacey Dooley's been doing some very good journalism recently - she did that excellent and very depressing programme on domestic violence in Russia.

I've just watched it- grim.

Will definitely give it a watch, thanks for the post OP

Why do they put this on so late at night in the tv schedule so that blink and you would miss it. It will have escaped most peoples notice.

I think its essential viewing for those muppets (seems to be a sizeable number) who think we no longer need feminism. I am going to try and watch her back catalogue now as I hadn't been aware that she has done a whole series of this films in different locations.

Watched it last night. Stacey Dooley is brilliantly refreshing. She confronts so many misogynists with her disarming manner and she expresses real empathy with the women and girls she meets.

What stood out for me was that women and girls always bear the worst effects in society. So in Honduras where civil society is barely functioning, men have difficult lives but it’s the women and girls who are doubly oppressed- both by the chaotic and lawless state and then by the widespread misogynistic and sexist beliefs about the role of women.
The average men she spoke to seemed to have just as dangerous views on what was acceptable re: violence towards women as those who were gang lords and other criminals

Just watched it now. Why is this on so late at night and why have I never seen it trailered? This should be prime-time viewing!
