MB kept spouting off about lumping sex offenders in with Trans women, blatantly not what SD was doing at all.
The problem for TAs like MB is that they cannot admit now that there are non-trans identifying males who take advantage of policies set up to support trans-identifying males. There is too much evidence of it. They also have tied themselves in knots by insisting that trans identifying males never commit sexual crimes against women when there is lots and lots of evidence that many of them do. They can't play No True Scotsman anymore because under their current ideology anyone who says they are trans are trans.
So if TAs came out now and said 'yes, it has happened that many trans identifying males have committed sexual crimes against women and children' then it will quickly become clear that they have known about this for a long time and have denied and hidden it for their own benefit.
Once that becomes more well known they are stuffed. Not only will their demands become more highly scrutinised and refused, but their reputation as Most Victimised People Ever will be in tatters.
The only thing they can do now is keep denying it. I guess they are looking at Catholics and Hollywood and seeing how continued denial of abuse keeps them in business, and hoping TAs can do the same.
