The name “mumsnet”

It’s good, isn’t it?

Like the title of the tv series being “mum”.

It is interesting to see the reactions to the name in the current debate.

It also makes me chuckle if we’re described as man-haters, when clearly many of us like men well enough to procreate with them, and presumably around half of those who have will have sons.

I like that fact that we get to organise ourselves in relative peace while the misogynists are busy scoffing at us.

That is the ball they dropped, when promoting their agenda.

I think that we are like Miss Marple. Nobody expects anything of us so we can fly under the radar.
