DId anyone see the TV programme about six boys sent to an Indian boarding school to try to get better exam results. One of them presented as a camp gay young man saying he knows he is male but wants to grow up to be a girl, and have a sex change. I am sad that all he seems to know about being a girl is having long hair and doing his multicolored nails continuously. Where is the support for him to be a gay man? I suspect he is only in contact with the Trans cult members . ....

You gotta wonder that the transcult has taken over all the lgb organisations now and homosexual young people no longer have anyone to turn to for affirmation ahd support. I guess its like women are equal now, gay people are fully integrated. This is what paradise looks like.

I really enjoyed this show last night. It was very obvious Ethan is a very confused and emotionally immature and distressed young person.

I hope he sticks the process out, I think it could do him a world of good.

I was very interested in his “I know I’m a boy” piece to camera.

This effeminate young man acted quite narcissitically but I feel this could be put down to the fact he is a teenager and had been bullied. I feel if he had support in his gay identity he could grow up to be a fine man. But I feel if he gets in with the terf hating trans he would be confirmed in his narcissism and become a bully. And to think this is happening to many youngsters I fear for all our futures.

Yes, watched it too. I was struck by how nice the Indian boys seemed. Really (apparently) open and "unaffected". Really interested to see how Ethan (in particular) fares. They are the same age as one of my DSs

Yes I too thought the Indian boys were lovely. But then I remembered all the really nasty rapes in India (one on a bus I remember and the driver just kicked the victim out onto the street), and wondered if all the rule conforming young men would stick up for a woman being attacked or would they just be indecisive since rules don't cover every situation. Are they being taught to speak out or just to conform?

Angryresister · 30/03/2018 17:41

Most of the boys are from the high class families...unlikely to ever be on a bus! It is weird in India as in the streets there are overwhelmingly men and boys. Should be more frightening than it is. But if you are female and the wrong caste it is another story. As we know, male violence crosses over into all classes castes races etc. But as a visitor I am always impressed by the general gentleness and kindness shown by most of them. Difficult to reconcile with the knowledge of inter community and male violence .

What was the programme called? I would like to watch it on catch up.

Sharpkat · 30/03/2018 18:43

@RainbowdropsandUnicorns It was called Indian Summer School and was on Channel 4. Last night was the first in a 3 part series.
