Green Party silences again

The Green Party in Nottingham reported 3 women for raising concerns about TIMs in the Greens, and now the national account has expressed support for silencing women. We need to keep the pressure up across the left, not just Labour. If anyone feels able to speak up against them please do, I think Caroline Lucas doesn't agree with the TIMs in her party but is too scared to say anything, notice how she rarely tweets about their Alphabet Soup campaign.

Of note, Challenor is the person who tries to silence women the most in the Greens.

Will they be purging the female non-men for refusing to submit to male dominance they same way the Labour Party is?
Are there any political parties willing to represent the female half of the human population?

P1ssed · 26/02/2018 19:29

They’re even silencing men who see the obvious! twitter.com/djandyhealey/status/965618619920080901 Scary that TIMs have such power in the Greens, though Andy reveals a lot about Ashton “Aimee” here.

So is any party not supporting this bollocks ?

I will give my vote to any party just on this issue.

BigDeskBob · 26/02/2018 19:45

"Are there any political parties willing to represent the female half of the human population?"

I don't think we are important. Every party trusts us to do the right thing and think of everyone else and every other issue first. And the sad thing is they are right.

shedalight · 26/02/2018 19:52

This is the party that promotes the phrase 'non men' yet hopes to be electable? Hmm

OrderOnline · 26/02/2018 19:57

Spoiling with [XX] Gin

SpringHen · 26/02/2018 19:59

I think ukip

CroneAlone · 26/02/2018 20:03

Leader of Greens in Scotland refuses to meet to discuss. Said he doesn't waste his time talking to islamphobes or right-to-lifers either. Arrogant wee shite.

SmurfOrTerf · 26/02/2018 20:15

Well I might vote UKIP then. The other parties are not listening.
They will only listen if they realise this stance is damaging them.

Mouthandtrousersall · 26/02/2018 20:17

I am going to apply to be the leader of UKIP

OrderOnline · 26/02/2018 20:19

Imagine if we all spoilt our papers in May with a threat to vote UKIP next time, as it's the only anti Self-ID party?

Mouthandtrousersall · 26/02/2018 20:19

Renamed the UKWIP - United Kingdom Women's Independence Party. Men can join as long as they repeat the motto, men are men and women are women.

We should be glad he doesn't waste our time with his talking then hahahaha

TheButterflyOfTheStorms · 26/02/2018 20:45

Well UKIP got what they wanted on their one and only issue. They need a new one - Women's Independence. Why the hell not?

UpstartCrow · 26/02/2018 20:47

I wouldn't vote for UKIP if they paid me.

QuentinSummers · 26/02/2018 21:11

No don't vote for UKIP. Independent or spoilt ballot. UKIP are the modern day BNP Sad

QuentinSummers · 26/02/2018 21:12

I'm a lib fem member (full disclosure). Part of the reason I joined is because the lib dems let all members vote on their policies. If enough GC women join we can change their stance on self ID.

QuentinSummers · 26/02/2018 21:13

Lib dem! Not lib fem. Ffs autocorrect

SmurfOrTerf · 26/02/2018 21:16

Quentin I thought lib fem was quite amusing Grin

SmurfOrTerf · 26/02/2018 21:18

I just has a look on my local council site. There is still time for people to stand as candidates.
Anyone up for standing as an independent ?

holycheeseplant · 26/02/2018 21:37

Oooh interesting. I've never joined a party but tend to lean towards lib dem, with occasional labour votes. That might tempt me.

holycheeseplant · 26/02/2018 21:41

Ps how John bow wow in a tardis dress can lead to the logical conclusion it was cause trans deaths is beyond me (esp after IW proclaimed love for darleks.)

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 26/02/2018 21:42

I left the Greens over this shit.

But I thought they Lib Dems are rabid genderists aren't they?

And I get the impression UKIP are only anti-trans because they haven't noticed that's actually inconsistent with their homophobia

We need a women's liberation party

holycheeseplant · 26/02/2018 21:43

John Barrowman ffs.

holycheeseplant · 26/02/2018 21:44

There was talk of resurrecting the Whiggs (Wiggs?) not so long ago...
