I've added my comments. I did put a section about gender self-id so I wonder whether my other comments will be rejected.

rowdywoman1 · 06/02/2018 16:57

I don't think for a split second they will publish gender critical women's views ... oh the irony....

They are so involved in changing society to fit their own prejudices than ethical reporting - they will never see the problem.

CallMeAstroTerf · 06/02/2018 18:12

Thanks for highlighting this. Ive commented, and named Owen Jones as a bellend factor in not letting women ever be heard speaking for themselves. Mentioned the whataboutery and the penis owners taking over. I wont get published i am sure Grin

StillPissedOff · 07/02/2018 02:54

Blimey, I actually wrote and sent my response to this, and under my own real name too! (Don't fucking care any more....)

How male self-ID as "woman" is threatening to women and girls, contrary to women's rights, and the fact that the Guardian suppresses any criticism of TRA dogma, type of thing.

NaturalWoman · 07/02/2018 07:08

I suspect there are going to be some "ah shit, we can include any of these!" moments as they review them.

And yes, if they do choose one, it'll be one that only glosses over the issue and maks women look a bit daft.

I think the biggest goal for women's rights at the moment ensuring that they/we don't become obsolete.

SweetGrapes · 07/02/2018 07:23

Done. In my own name. I dare them to publish it!

Debinaround · 07/02/2018 10:10

Did it this morning before the school run. Used my real name too.

NaturalWoman I hope it isn't mine that gets published that makes women look stupid. I feel so furious with how far this has gone but I'm really not very good at articulating myself.

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 07/02/2018 10:12

Yeah. Now I've said they will publish the least coherent they are bound to choose mine!

GoodyMog · 07/02/2018 10:24

I've snuck in some gender crit theory by talking about teaching children that they are more alike than different, can fully imagine my comment being used but minus the sentence about biology being the only difference.

StillPissedOff · 07/02/2018 23:06

GoodyMog, that's a very good (!) one, too.

Hope you don't mind if I nick it and file it away for future use!

TerfyMcTerface · 07/02/2018 23:13

Have they actually published any of these?

Or have they got a version of that TERFblocker thing that's on Twitter so that they can ignore us all?

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 07/02/2018 23:24

Dunno - I can't find the blog they said they would put them on.

Maybe it seems like a bad idea now and they've just got Owen to write something nasty about Tony Blair instead.

TerfyMcTerface · 07/02/2018 23:47

Most likely all the comments were about self-ID, the Guardian's misogyny, and Owen the Little Shit's transphobic refusal to contemplate having sex with a male vagina. When they were expecting us all to say that the challenge for women will be living up to the utter fabulousness of trans women.

Patodp · 08/02/2018 07:32
Grin Our biggest challenge. How can we be better women in man's opinion? We need men who identify as women to be our gurus, as we ever learn and grow, and henceforth offer everything that is for women up to our better, once male sisters.

I should have wrote that!! I might do another one in a different email address.... I'm so tempted.

SweetGrapes · 08/02/2018 08:48

Labour launches a 12-month campaign to celebrate women’s suffrage and to look at what steps can be taken to end the “grotesque levels of inequality” in society as well as the gender pay gap.

From the link above by @sittinonthefloor Labour saying all the right things but not really supporting women in the party....

MacaroonMama · 08/02/2018 12:40

Have posted. It was a bit crap but I had to say something!
