I don’t know how many of you have seen the thread- it’s mentioned on the go fund me post, but it is getting more and more hideous every time he posts!
This guy is on another planet of ignoring women’s voices. I think it’s more infuriating because he presents himself as this right on lefty liberal, well his true (misogynistic) colours are showing now.
Can anyone do a proper link for me please, thank you

Aw dammit! I thought we had made a victory today. Although i think the campaign has made a lot of people aware of the current transactivist movement and some of the dangerous people behind it, so that’s got to be a good thing.

EsmesRedPetticoat I’m wondering if we know each other now!

What about Jolyon Maugham, a barrister no less who tweeted this -

To this reverse ferret 3 hours later -

Almost like he has been cowed into submission from one viewpoint to a complete turnaround in a matter of hours...

Very worrying from someone in a profession who is meant to be able to read text thoroughly and comment on said text with a degree of authority and understanding. Not randomly fire off tweets on twitter and then roll over like a cowed dog when challenged Sad

Also volte face from Labour NEC.

I'm not British. Who is this Ralf fellow exactly?

nauticant · 19/01/2018 10:47

"ralf" is a dialect word meaning weasel. So, literally, "little weasel".

Has been on a couple of shows but he seems to mainly play in charity football matches. His views are worthless really but it's 2018, and Twatter gives everyone a platform.

ALittleBitOfButter · 19/01/2018 11:05

Oh right. He seems to be quite well known and i couldn't glean why!

EsmesRedPetticoat · 19/01/2018 11:08

Someones it’s possible! Are you from the greater Manchester area?

As for 'I'll be on the next women's march....' Oh please don't bother Ralf.

Supporting women whilst supporting erosion of their rights. Makes huge sense!

I invited him not to come.

Supporting women whilst supporting erosion of their rights. Makes huge sense!

It does if you're a superior, paternal numpty who thinks he's going to be there to demonstrate for what women actually need in his male superior opinion, while kindly providing a competent, loving authority to hush and redirect the silly girls who keep saying silly things about their supposed 'legal rights' and 'female experience' and make sure no one listens to them. Tedious and offensive as it's clueless. He's actually enacting beautifully why men have no business in womens' spaces - because they take over, have an innate sense of superiority, want to redefine what women should think and should want, and feel a God-given right to discipline, curb and direct women to carry out their own personal goals.

Ralf, frankly, fuck that.

He is an actor who's been in one very well loved sitcom and another which I also enjoyed very much.

People know him mainly from the first prog which was called the royle family.

UpABitLate · 19/01/2018 13:34

Looking at wiki:

"After the original run of The Royle Family, he was cast in another sitcom, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (or Two Pints), as Jonny Keogh. The first series ran from February 2001, and the programme ran for nine series in total. During an interview for This Morning in September 2007 Little said that he would not be returning for the next series due to an overwhelming schedule. His character was subsequently killed off. In 1999 Little played the Star of Bethlehem in the ITV comedy drama The Flint Street Nativity.
In December 2000, Little played Wishee Washee in the ITV Panto Aladdin, which was filmed in the New Wimbledon Theatre."

Ditching 2 pints seems like not such an awesome decision now somehow Confused
