Completed. I don't identify as any gender, so presume I must be Agender. It's so exciting to find out I'm not just a boring middle aged woman, I'm a special trans snowflake too.

Thelilywhite · 04/10/2017 09:14

Done. Not a good example of how to design a survey. Pretty appalling for a public bod I would say . Some questions repeated...

Oh yes Errol, I agree. But to be clearer I mean now in cases where children are raised without anyone knowing their sex, they’re not “trans” NB, they’re raised NB. They didn’t “transition” at any point
(Of course I’d say in their nonsense terms I’m “long term NB” too - but people have always known my sex)

Lancelottie · 04/10/2017 14:31

I'm not totally sure people have always known my sex. Sixties/Seventies upbringing, several brothers, same tracksuit and haircut for all, and four pretty unisex names among the lot of us (think Al, Chris, Sam and Joey and you'll get the gist).

I've found our gender everyone! This perfectly describes what we are so we can be special and amazing too and our opinions will count!

Described by the one who coined it as a "gender identity in which you identify as both male and female, yet you also identify as neither, at the same time. You can lean towards any sort of gender expression if you wanted.

@Ereshkigal! Nailed it!

If anyone feels that description doesn't quite capture the nuances of your unique personal self presentation and lived experience, take a look at the rest of that site. Have no fear there will be a sparklegender for you!

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have to ask: Is this part of the consultation promised by Justine Greening re; the upcoming gender identity proposals? Consultations are (were?) due re; health, education and employment.

As a result of this brilliant thread and survey I tried to persuade DH that he was transgender yesterday evening - he's not convinced yet but I'll keep working on it.....we are going to be a very, very special couple, both of us transgender in our own unique way. We will need a lot of special treatment and people will need to be very careful to not hurt our feelings.
