Asda T shirts.

"Boys - build rockets, be a scientist! Girls - look shiny!"

AND Sky is missing from the Paw Patrol shirt.

I try sooooo hard at home and then I see this shite and want to weep.

That doesn't make it ok though, that the original program was even worse than the current line up! Plus it seems like it's a new line of clothes, odd not to use the current characters.

It's 2017, with so many avenues to do shopping, I really don't understand what this fuss is about. Even if you think there is an agenda, what's to stop you from shopping online?

AssassinatedBeauty · 28/09/2017 16:07

It's not about an individual shopping experience.

Of course people know you can shop online. I'm sure you're not suggesting that we never take our children to the supermarket or high street, in order to avoid these kinds of messages?

Nearly all high street and supermarket shops pander to these stereotypes. It has been shown to be harmful to children, both boys and girls. Do you disagree with the research and evidence about that?

Slightly off topic, but i just got a lovely pair of fleecy paw patrol pyjamas for DD in Sainsburys - wasn't intending to buy anything, but then saw that although they are obviously intended to be "girls'" (pink collar & cuffs, pastel blue/white main colour) they have skye, everest and rubble on the front, and chase and marshall on the back. And the trousers have mini versions of all the same pups. I know posters here often say vote with your money, so it seemed only right and proper to get them as the first ones i've seen to feature girl AND boy pups. Grin
Now to ponder the weird discrimination against Rocky and Zuma...
