Has anyone seen this? It's about a "managed" area of street prostitution.

It's very confronting. And it has absolutely solidified my position against legalised prostitution. I don't know how anyone can look at the lives of these women, and tacitly condone the situation through legalisation.

It is absolutely disgusting that prostitution can ever be seen as okay. Aren't there countries where it is fully decriminalised for the women in the hope that they can seek support but fully criminalised for the men that use prostitutes? That is the only place decriminalisation has in regards to prostitution.

How can anyone argue that it is okay for womens' bodies to be sold as commodities :(

Prostitution in NZ is not okay. There's trafficking of Asian women. Prices in many brothels, especially Asian ones, are $50 or even less, per hour.
Many brothels have underage prostitutes, and girls and women who may be forced into the situation by male partners, or by financial need and the inability to get a normal job.
It's totally normalised, and hugely harmful.
