Feminists that wear bras??

user1496230232 · 04/06/2017 13:48

Just was interested to know if there are any feminists out there that wear bras. Personally I don't ever wear one why should I? I don't go around looking at men's nipples when they take their shirts off so they shouldn't look at mine through my shirt. My body is a natural beautiful thing and if people don't like it don't look.

The other day two people looked and was smiling, and a woman! Loudly said as I walked past no underwear! What is up with that. Haha it made my day I laughed all the way home.

Xx

Seriously?

Yes I wear bras. Very supportive ones. They allow me to run and jump and other sports and daily activities in comfort. I can't imagine anything more uncomfortable than not wearing a bra when doing anything but sleeping.

Soubriquet · 04/06/2017 13:54

I don't wear a bra...simply because I don't need one. I hated wearing them when I was younger and now I've had my kids, my boobs are a tad smaller so no longer need one.

But I wouldn't say anyone was anti feminist for wearing a bra

I can't see big boobed people finding it comfortable

Oh yeah I wear a sports bra for the gym and cycling. But every day things like shopping I don't bother.

Cool thanks for your reply just interested if people share my view or not. Have a great day 🙏

Without one*

user1496230232 · 04/06/2017 13:56

Of course it wouldn't be for me to say if someone was anti feminist or feminist it's a personal choice just interested in other opinions. Luckily mine are small too 🙏

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Can't see what that has to do with feminism. Care to enlighten me?

Bigbiscuits · 04/06/2017 13:56

Being a feminist and wearing a bra are not connected (unless you are living in the 1970s).

Lj8893 · 04/06/2017 13:57

Yes I wear a bra and am a feminist. Plenty of women wear bras and are feminists, even if they don't label themselves a feminist.

I have a very large chest, I don't wear bras for any reason other than support and comfort.

TheRollingCrone · 04/06/2017 13:58

My tits don't make me a feminist, my experience does. What an odd question Hmm

Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. I mostly do if I'm out and about because I'm an E cup and pthey are uncomfortable unsupported.

No idea why feminists would care either way though.

user1496230232 · 04/06/2017 13:59

Cool thanks for your replies.

I didn't say it was linked. The reason I don't wear one as a feminist is I don't need for support one so why should I hoik my boobs up for the benefit of men??

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 04/06/2017 14:01

Hoik or don't hoik as you wish, my life would be pretty uncomfortable without my boulder holders.

ittooshallpass · 04/06/2017 14:03

So why use the title you did? Confused
I wear a bra for comfort, nothing else. It's a choice. Isn't that what feminism is all about? Having the choice? You sound very young...

kittybiscuits · 04/06/2017 14:04

Hahahaha Grin

dementedpixie · 04/06/2017 14:04

With a GG cup size, no way would I go without a bra or my boobs would be down to my knees

Wellmeetontheledge · 04/06/2017 14:07

As a big boobed teacher of littlies a bra is essential, i'd knock them out when I bent down otherwise! Plus it's so much more comfortable having the right support.

Hayels · 04/06/2017 14:07

I'm a feminist with small boobs
I wear a bra because it gives me a better shape and makes clothes fall better which makes me feel better. Fuck all to do with men.

gamerchick · 04/06/2017 14:08

So basically you don't have much in the tit area and want to brag to those of us who have big tits and need support for comfort?

TheRollingCrone · 04/06/2017 14:09

Men? What have they got to do with what you do to your beasts?

Re-think your feminism OP

TheRollingCrone · 04/06/2017 14:10

Beasts? Breasts even

Freshprincess · 04/06/2017 14:13

im guessing you've a very small cup size then. I'm GG. I don't hoik them up for the benefit of men. I wear a bra because I'm uncomfortable otherwise.

WellErrr · 04/06/2017 14:21

What an odd thread.

Latenightreader · 04/06/2017 14:23

Never occurred to me that I was wearing a bra for men. I wear one (or not) for comfort and shape of clothing. The op sounds as if it is trying to stir up a story where none exists...

bloodymaria · 04/06/2017 14:27

I didn't say it was linked.

It was implied in your title. And OP.
