"Bit of a non-sequiteur, this post. Better? Better in what way, in whose view? Do you mean "an unfit woman can look nice, but an unfit man can't"? It's just personal preference. I look fucking fantastic when I'm at peak strength. Muscles everywhere. Lovely grin because, to me an athletic physique "looks better"."
Obviously everyone has different preferences, but there IS a general, overall consensus. That's why models exist. That's why they always pick a certain physique for 'get beach body ready' posters!
What I meant was, I've known plenty of girls who never, ever went to the gym or did much exercise, and yet lots of people considered them to have great bodies, because they were slim-waisted, busty, curvy or what have you. Its less common to see men who never dio any kind of exercise and yet are considered to have great bodies. Or, to put it another way, if you lined up a load of slightly out of shape, slightly overweight men and women, I'd bet that more people would think more of the women were better looking, physique-wise.
"It's not just "easier" for men to have a lower body fat percentage. It's physiologically not possible for a woman to get to as low a body fat percentage as a man. We have breasts, for a start. A reasonably fit man can quite happily maintain a sub-10% body fat, but a woman at sub 10% would almost certainly be quite ill."
That's not what I meant. A woman could have 20% body fat and a man could have 25%, therefore the woman has lower body fat than a man. I meant men can generally maintain and lose body fat easier than women, for a variety of reasons.
