No, this isn't the stuff that glues your labia shut - it's a glue manufactured for sticking on baby girls' hair accessories - you know the ones that won't stick on because they have barely any hair. Or for sticking on ear studs because their ears aren't pierced yet.
Because heaven forfend your dd is misgendered by any passing stranger.

Vestal I'm pretty sure we all agree that it's horrendous Stepford bollocks, out of the same stable as those terrifying baby wigs that you put on bald girl babies, because god forbid you get to three months' old without conforming to certain beauty standards required of human females, even tiny puking ones.

On the other hand ... I totally want to glue shit to babies' heads now, too.

meddie · 01/03/2017 12:05

I used to buy bizarre looking hats to put on my son. The sillier the better. He often sported drawn on glasses and a moustache. I figured I deserved a little bit of fun because he denied me sleep for 14 months

meddie · 01/03/2017 12:06

Babyglue would have been so much fun.I could have had a field day with that

deydododatdodontdeydo · 01/03/2017 12:16

glue a little bow to their daughters' head so that everyone can tell she's a member of the subhuman sex class.

lol, it's ridiculous, but I'm sure that's not what's going through the heads of the parents when they glue it on, but "it looks cute".

AssassinatedBeauty · 01/03/2017 12:18

Would those people equally glue things to the heads of their boy children, do you think?

ArcheryAnnie · 01/03/2017 12:31

deydododatdodontdey there are whole industries devoted to encouraging the idea that it's the worst thing in the world if total strangers don't immediately identify your baby as either a girl baby or a boy baby. Since the different (and negative) treatment of girl children is unconscious, and starts pretty much from birth, the parents sticking bows on their girl babies' heads to make absolutely sure they are ID'd as girls, are in fact identifying their babies as "members of the subhuman sex class", whether they articulate it like this or not.

deydododatdodontdeydo · 01/03/2017 13:39

No they probably wouldn't glue things to boy head, but the ones that do glue things to girl's heads are, I'm sure, not doing it because they think their girls are inferior and should be identified as such.
What Annie says may be true, but the parents aren't thinking that and would probably be horrified at the suggestion.

BasketOfDeplorables · 01/03/2017 13:43

This seems like a great product, but I am also very lazy, so not sure I can be bothered to glue stuff to my wriggling monster child. Does anyone know of a manufacturer of babygrows with the word VAGINA stamped across them?

Bardolino · 01/03/2017 13:47

Good. They should be. It's crap like this which leads to the gender bullshit that females have to deal with for the rest of our lives.

Anniegetyourgun · 01/03/2017 16:48

If only they'd invented this stuff when mine were too small to fight me off. I could have given them a little moustache, like Pubert Addams.

Anniegetyourgun · 01/03/2017 16:52

... the ironic thing being (I had to google this to confirm my vague memory) Pubert was in fact played by girls.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 01/03/2017 17:46

Surely if you're going to glue anything Star Trek related, it would have to be a Borg face piece?
Someone leans over to look at baby and you mutter "Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated"
😁
I should have glued little goat horns on to ds2.

Datun · 01/03/2017 19:02

You could always dye the beard pink, then glue it on.

scalliondays · 01/03/2017 20:08

I wondered if this wax a spoof website but depressingly it's probably not.

scalliondays · 01/03/2017 20:18

Oops meant to say 'was' not 'wax'. Bit of a freudian slip as I noticed the website is Brazilian and I was sarcastically thinking that women in the Mardi Gras parades always seem very sexualised.
