I love Jess Phillips. You might not agree with some of her politics but on women's issues, she is right there.

Instead, I will quote briefly from research that I helped set up while I was the research manager at Respect, the national organisation for work with perpetrators of domestic violence and male victims. It is called the Mirabal research and people can look it up on the Respect website"

He is absolutely right to say that it is not a zero-sum game, but does he agree that wanting a Bill that supports women does not mean that we do not want one that supports men? There is no use of the word “only” in this Bill.

If he wishes to bring in a Bill about violence against men, I will gladly co-sponsor it with him"

I shared this on my fb page. Not a single comment or reaction to it. I understand some people don't like getting political on fb but, seriously, all the inane shit that is circulated and applauded on there and something like this is completely ignored. Pisses me off.

I don't understand why he hasn't been suspended by Theresa May for collaborating with a party that intends to stand in the 20 most marginal Conservative constituencies; a party that has "13 reasons women lie about being raped" on their website.
