More seriously, though, it frightens me that the level of public discourse about women and assault seems to be changing. It seems like it's OK to laugh about sexual assault these days. To treat it as locker room banter. Not to be taken seriously. I had thought we were making progress from Days of Yore where we laughed off bottom smacks in the office and boob gropes in clubs, but suddenly that seems to have shot into reverse. Chilling, really.
