Currently there are five boards: Chat, Activism, Book Club, Theory and Support. Chat is far and away the most populated.

MNHQ have said on Site Stuff that they are rationalising the boards in the near future. So I thought it was worth asking which boards posters here would like.

It was deleted for derailment - which seems an odd justification. It was quite entertaining. Teacher Bob was a prat but those responding to him were more than capable of holding their own ground

I suggest reducing to 3 boards, comdemsing the less populated areas.
Say:

  • Chat & Support (I agree with Errrol, good to combine these, so everyone knows to come here for support )
  • Books & Art (includes any feminist collections, exhibitions, museums etc))
  • Activism & Theory

Men who post like anyone else are no problem. Good to have different povs.

The issue - apart from the obvious MRA wrecking crew - is those who derail any thread to become about some esoteric aspect that affects only men, so it all becomes about men again.
However, no way I can see of preventing such diversion; just discuss what we want and don't engage with them.

Errol's suggestion works for me. Three boards seems better than five or one!

It would also be clear how to move the old threads into those boards!

Errol or BigChoc's suggestions work for me

Theory and Activism together? I think there is a word for that. Wink

As in

Errol's or BigChoc's ideas are sound.

I'm liking Seneca's work as well
