Last Friday it was debated in the House of Lords if to ban abortion after 24 weeks on grounds of disability to the fetus. While it is said to be unlikely to become law. What is everyone on here's view.

It's worse than that. The Bill would take away disability to the foetus as a reason for abortion at any stage.

WTAF?

The Minister who spoke said the Government kept a neutral position, which is politician-speak for My Lords, My Ladies, whatever this House does, we will not give this Bill time in the House of Commons where it will be blocked by somebody even if we don't do it ourselves.

So no, it won't pass, but it's a pity that it is brought in and that several peers of both genders spoke in favour.
