This guy is depriving a village somewhere of an idiot.

It's just a shaped funnel that you can use standing up, just by pushing your clothes aside (you'd need to unzip trousers).

Soubriquet · 19/10/2016 17:28

Yep. It's got a wide brim and you just hold it up to where you pee and it pours out like a man's

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 19/10/2016 21:22

A GP I know had one couple who had a baby every summer like clockwork for a decade until one year they didn't. He said something in passing during a house call (this was many years ago) about there not being a baby this year and the man winked broadly, saying "No, we found out what was causing it." And they were a country family too.

Still puzzled. Why would I want to pee standing up?
And how would it work if you were wearing a skirt? You'd have to hold the skirt up over it. Pee'ing behind a bush is not difficult if you're wearing anything with a full skirt but I can't work out how you'd hold this thing in place and keep a skirt out of the way.

LilCamper · 20/10/2016 06:10

If you have ever seen the portaloos at a festival you will know why it is preferable to wee standing up.

rumbelina · 20/10/2016 06:25

Katie Hopkins-lite

Out2pasture · 20/10/2016 06:27

the shewee comes in handy if you are kayaking or canoeing and just can't make it to shore or hang your tush over the edge. I can't think of any other uses....

kali110 · 20/10/2016 06:44

He's missing a few brain cells.
He can't work out why he's getting so much hate or why his petition didn't get many signatures Grin really???
How does he have a gf???

Xenophile · 20/10/2016 06:54

But the point is that, at least on the first day, there was no hate. Lots of ribbing, lots of "this is what happens when we don't teach biology properly" but no hate.

And no death threats.

GazingAtStars · 20/10/2016 07:04

My ex (28 at the time) thought we just wee'd it out too and that women could control it till they got to the toilet

WhereTheFuckIsWonderWoman · 20/10/2016 07:31

He also seems to be revelling his five minutes of fame after he wrote on Facebook tonight: "For any TV requests, please contact me directly.
I bet channel 5 are eyeing him up for big brother 🙈

HalloToJasonIsaacs · 20/10/2016 08:18

The sad death of Jade Goody has left a gap in the reality TV landscape.

Shakey15000 · 20/10/2016 08:28

Unbelievable

ErrolTheDragon · 20/10/2016 09:08

Lass - peeing discreetly isn't so very easy in trousers though, which is what people wear on long walks. Fortunately I can outlast my DH by hours, but I can see that this contraption could be handy in some terrains.

PreemptiveSalvageEngineer · 20/10/2016 13:08

How does he have a gf???

I wondered this too. Esp since he has zero chance if ever finding the clitoris Xmas Grin

No death threat here, but I do seriously want to smack him in the face, if for no other reason than it gives Americans a reason to say "British people are stupid too".

I feel a tad sorry for him, in a 'God he'll look back and cringe hard on this' ..probably already , he's getting a pasting on the Internet and and I'm assuming hasn't had much education on the matter , he'said only 19. Although I was a mother by then sooo...feel free to disregard the above Grin

HalfShellHero · 21/10/2016 23:08

*he is only 19

FayKorgasm · 22/10/2016 09:01

Good luck to him finding a job, nobody would employ such a gobshite.

ProfYaffle · 22/10/2016 09:09

Have you seen the follow up interview he did? Terrifying.

Soubriquet · 22/10/2016 09:56

What a thick idiot

PreemptiveSalvageEngineer · 22/10/2016 10:32

Your sympathy does you credit, HalfShell, but did you catch his judginess? Referring to his GF's [alleged] non-bleeding as "clean". Hmm Shock What a misery he must make her life.

Stupid alone is bad enough, but to be so mean-spirited is quite t'other.

PreemptiveSalvageEngineer · 22/10/2016 12:11

Just read the follow-up article. >head-desk<

That he can say with a straight face how he won't form a judgement about young men's suicide rates, men's health care, etc until he researches it further .... But the tampon-urine thing is just common sense, he reckons.

I particularly love the No Comment about how it's affecting his girlfriend, and I hereby retract my previous statement. I'm sure his blow-up doll is doing just fine.

sashh · 25/10/2016 05:39

the only people I've heard ask this were rather sheltered, and religiously educated in less rigorous countries.

Sorry to disapoint.

A group of VI formers getting ready to present their 'health campaign' for their BTEC Level 3.

One group had chosen contraception to talk to year 8 about. They had to research various methods and one girl asked about the diaphragm needing to remain in place after sex, "what happens if you want to go to the toilet?"

They were fine with putting condoms on bananas, discussing STDs yet one of them didn't realise you pee out of a different hole.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 25/10/2016 19:49

The comments under the second interview are funny though. One American praises us for our creative insults, quoting someone who called Trump a Hoofwanking Bunglecunt. Says the Brits and Scots outdo Americans in this respect by "a country mile."
