Today we have had mass blocking of feminists by @greenpartywomen and now the spokesperson for LGBTQIAetc has declared war...

On top of the pro-sex work, pro-genderism (but contradictory, anti-pinkbrain) crap we have seen already.

How bloody frustrating. 🙄

The problem is that almost certainly very few politicians and 'opinion formers' are familiar with gender critical analyses of trans issues, and even fewer will be willing to come forward and openly support the gender critical position if they are likely to be denigrated in public as transphobic bigots. That would be a career-damaging (if not career-ending) label in the current climate.

As long as the public debate is framed as trans being an oppressed minority fighting to overcome prejudice then the trans lobby can operate unopposed, because nobody within mainstream opinion wants to be seen to be supporting prejudice against a minority group in this day and age.

Politicians and others won't come on board unless the Overton window moves and gender critical ideas are seen as legitimate opinions and not as radical bigotry.

We an help with the Overton window. Mumsnet.

Re the WEP, my hope is that at some point someone will set up a proper one and a lot of the women in the WEP who are gender critical but keeping their mouths shut will defect. A few cases of girls having to change in front of inappropriately-behaving boys as in the US and there will be votes in it even from men.

Hmm, I wonder how many transwomen hold positions within the Green Party? I'm thinking overrepresented...

The Greens have always been a joke party TBF. Did you read their manifesto for the 2015 election?
