It's fascinating that they looked at that page themselves (I assume) before it went live and couldn't guess how it would look.

Apocalypse, it's not that different to other websites though, most I see in financial services have only men in the senior team. We are issuing a document soon and I'm the only woman named in it; it barely occurs to me so I'm sure it doesn't occur to the others. All those in the document are white.

There are no pictures though!

I think that's all the staff in the team - not middle management but all the staff.

There is a certain look and age about them. I don't know how they can't see that. I would love to hear the conversations taking place there now.

You missed a bit Buffy...

"Now that's sorted out, pass me those CV's for that new role."

[looks through CVs]

"hmmm well let's weed out the blokes. Errr that woman's over 35 she can go, look just hand me the cute girls ok and bin the rest."

Yes, it was a short post! Men overwhelmingly respond to discrimination by blaming feminism, women or feminist women, e.g. education system now "failing boys" that's the feminisation of the education system apparently, you know who's done that? White men. Just as racism is caused and perpetuated by white people, especially white men at the top, with consequences further down.

There was no joy in my exclamation of "Men!" merely exasperation that people, most often men, cannot see what is in front of their faces, like the original comment which sparked my post.

Have people seen the All Men Tumblr? It collates staff lists with photos from webpages.

There are many companies with more Davids (or possibly Pauls, or Peters, or Marks) in senior positions than women.
